We are excited to welcome you and your scholars to the ELC Daycare. We accept ages 1-5 years old, and we accept subsidies from DCYF & Best Starts for Kids.
We are conveniently located in the heart of Tukwila at Church By the Side of the Road. For more information, please contact 206-327-9573.

At our childcare center, we offer a variety of arts, crafts, music time, and more that foster creativity and essential skills in young children. These engaging experiences not only entertain but also promote social interaction cognitive growth, ensuring a well-rounded development.

Meals & Snacks
We proudly offer healthy, home-cooked meals and snacks that nourish growing bodies and minds. These meals not only provide essential but also create a comforting and familiar eating experience for children, promoting both health and happiness.

Program Director
Annette Todd
I was born and raised in Macon, MS. I graduated high school in 1981 and moved to Sacramento, CA shortly after graduation. I attended California State University in Sacramento, where I worked in their childcare center and graduated in 1987 with a degree in Liberal Studies.
I moved to Seattle, WA after graduation and began working at Mother’s Place the same summer. I remained on staff for almost 35 years. In 1995, I married Carliss Todd, and we have raised three children, including one daughter, our adopted niece, and nephew.
I have a great love for children and their development.

Lead Teacher
Gena Brooks
Gena, referred to as “Miss Gena,” is a native of Seattle, WA. Gena is a mother of a son and a foster mom. Miss Gena has over 20 years of experience in childcare with a certification in early childhood education.
She was a member of CBSR for 5 years and served on Sundays as the nursery coordinator during Sunday service.
